SAVE THE DATE🗓 On 12 December, as part of our #DigiCards project, our online conference 'Empowering futures: leveraging digital tools for career & educational counselling' will take place, which is hosted by our project partners Lifelong Learning Platform - European Civil Society for Education. This online interactive session will gather counsellors and staff working on competence development across Europe. The goal is for participants to share their own practices regarding digitalisation in career and educational counselling and the digital tools being used in daily practices. Gestern fand in Bozen der 2. Workshop im Rahmen von #FitforCooperation mit Bürgermeistern aus Nord-, Ost- und Südtirol sowie Salzburg statt, um an der Entwicklung ihrer länderübergreifenden Projektidee zu arbeiten. Es wurde an der #Vision, den #Problemstellungen, #Zielgruppen und an konkreten #Projektzielen gearbeitet. Durch und durch ein produktiver Tag! This week, our 2nd project meeting with our partners Lifelong Learning Platform - European Civil Society for Education from Brussels took place in Innsbruck. The 1st results of the piloting of our digital competence cards were analysed: 💥 more than 340 career counsellors have already worked with #DigiCards 💥 DigiCards has been used all over the world, iex. in Austria, Slovenia, Greece, Belgium, Grenada, Poland, Malaysia, Argentina, Portugal and India. 💥Users like most that the tool is easy to use. We are pleased about the positive feedback and have also made a few upgrades to make the tool even more attractive. In our competency handbook, we provide insights into how digital competence cards can be used when working with clients 🤓 🤓 🤓 One approach is to focus on the person's strengths and existing competences during the counselling process. This serves to make the formal and non-formal competences visible and to strengthen the person's self-confidence. 🙌 Another approach in the collaboration is to playfully identify those competences that the person still needs or in which areas the person would like to develop further. 🤏 We have also put together a catalogue of questions for you in our DigiCards Competence handbook to help you integrate both approaches into your work with competence cards in a practical and concrete way.
