Our partner Kapsch TrafficCom AG is pushing boundaries of intelligent transportation with the world’s first light-powered tolling transponder. These devices placed in vehicles enable automatic, wireless toll payment on toll roads, bridges, or tunnels. With Powerfoyle solar cells integrated into these transponders, they unlock longer battery life and reduce the need for battery changes.
