Affected children became victims of sextorsion. 60 children suicided in the last two months … as a consequence. Perpetrators and affected children are in most cases not in the same countries! Most scammers are from Philippines, Morocco, Cote d‘Ivoire, Ukraine and Mexico!

I like the report because its efforts to bring this conversation to the year 2024. SOS Children’s Villages invites you to an online event on family support and child protection. The conference will take place on the 30th and 31st of October (09:00 – 13:00 CET/UTC+1) and will bring together state and non-state actors, policymakers, decision-makers, researchers, and practitioners to share new insights and learnings on the systems and interventions needed to strengthen families, provide adequate care for children, and prevent separation. The conference will be conducted in English, with simultaneous translation into Russian and Arabic. SUBMIT AN ABSTRACT! The second day of the conference will be dedicated to sharing promising practices in strengthening families and protecting children. SOS Children’s Villages invites presenters from Central and Eastern Europe, Central Asia, and the Middle East to submit abstracts that: - Showcase innovative interventions, case studies, (pilot) projects, effective policies, project evaluations, service models, scaled-up initiatives, advocacy efforts, or innovative methodologies related to the conference theme. - Inspire and provide learning for the audience.  The active participation of young people, parents, and caregivers in the presentations is encouraged! An event I warmly recommend: https://lnkd.in/ditvcyrC I found the ESN events as excellent networks for various (state and non-state actors) in Europe and a first stage to discuss innovation in social services! Many of the pilot project presented in 2011 or 2012, are now mainstreamed in the social policy and practice in some European countries!
