We congratulate on 2♾️ years of trust in the future! ⭐ Our main shareholder, Wiener Städtische Versicherungsverein, is celebrating its 200th anniversary this year. What began as the idea of offering insurance protection for fire damage in Austria has become an insurance group that is the market leader in Central and Eastern Europe. 🌷 🤝 Courage, solidarity and togetherness reflect the values that Wiener Städtische Versicherungsverein has always stood for and that have been the roots for the Group’s success. The anniversary celebrations last weekend, attended by CEOs from all of VIG’s 30 markets, as well as numerous companions of the Group, representatives from business, politics and culture, were also marked by togetherness. The choice of artists also emphasizes the importance of and connection to the CEE region. The anniversary concert in St. Stephen’s Cathedral in Vienna featured artists from Slovakia 🇸🇰 (Slovak Philharmonic and Philharmonic Choir, Simona Šaturová), Hungary 🇭🇺 (Dorottya Lang), the Czech Republic 🇨🇿 (Jan Rozehnal) and Germany 🇩🇪 (Michael Schade), among others. At a matinee performance at the Wiener Konzerthaus, the Latvian-born 🇱🇻 mezzo-soprano Elina Garanca, tenor Rolando Villazón, the Slovakian Janoska Ensemble, Hubert von Goisern, and Federspiel impressed the guests. After the opening speech of host Robert Lasshofer, Chairman of Wiener Städtische Versicherungsverein, congratulatory messages by Austrian Federal President Alexander van der Bellen, Federal Chancellor Karl Nehammer, MSc, Minister of Economic Affairs Martin Kocher and Vienna’s Mayor Michael Ludwig emphasized the achievements of the Group for Austria and Europe, with a focus on the economies in CEE, as well as the high level of responsibility and social commitment, with the wish that all this be maintained for the next 200 years. 🔝 VIG continues strong performance in Q1-3 2024 🌷   💬 CEO Hartwig Löger: “With the figures for the first nine months of 2024, Vienna Insurance Group’s dynamic business development continues. The damage caused by storm Boris in September 2024 was managed effectively thanks to VIG’s responsible and conservative corporate and reinsurance policies. We confirm our outlook for 2024 and expect profit before taxes at the upper end of the planned range of EUR 825 million to EUR 875 million”.   ◽ Gross written premiums increased to EUR 11.5 billion (+8.0%) ◽ Insurance service revenue grew to EUR 9.0 billion (+9.3%) ◽ Profit before taxes risen to EUR 666.5 million (+8.5%) ◽ P&C net combined ratio remained the same as previous year at 94.3% ◽ Excellent solvency ratio of 259%   👉 Press release in the first comment

𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻? 𝗔𝘁 Vienna Insurance Group (VIG), 𝘄𝗲'𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘁 𝗻𝗼𝘄. I recently attended the Vienna Insurance Group (VIG) 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗮𝘆 in Prague for the second time, and WOW, what an experience! Over 70 innovators from 30 markets gathered to explore, exchange insights, and engage in dynamic discussions. 🎉 My role at the event was exciting—I presented our 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗲𝗰𝗼𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 and showcased business models that go 𝗯𝗲𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲. We're not just about policies. We're about creating new opportunities and extending our services into uncharted territories. 🚀 Here's what stood out to me: - Exchanging best practices opened new doors - The collaborative culture fueled creative ideas - The potential to create truly impactful solutions was limitless The truth is: 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘄𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲. We share, we learn, and together, we create a future filled with possibilities. This mindset is embedded in my department, 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 & 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀. We're dedicated to pushing the boundaries, and Innovation Day was a testament to the power of collaboration. At VIG, we're not just observers in the innovation space; we're active participants. DONAU also impressed in two categories at the Insurance Awards Austria 2024: second place in the private legal protection category and third place in the the unit-linked life insurance category.   🇦🇹: twinformatics GmbH apprentices won at the WKO's national apprentice hackathon with their project 'LehrLink' in the 'experts' category.   🇧🇬: BULSTRAD VIENNA INSURANCE GROUP was honoured in the 'Insurers for Society 2024' category for the national 'Little Giants' initiative. This prize is awarded for the best achievements undertaken for the benefit of society in Bulgaria.   🇧🇬: Our Bulgarian Pension Assurance Company Doverie has been named 'Pension Insurer of the Year' for the 13th time in a row. It has also been recognized as a leader in digital transformation at the NEXT DIFI Awards.   🇩🇪: InterRisk Versicherungen - Vienna Insurance Group has recently been awarded 'Broker's Favourite 2024' for their accident insurance by procontra.   🇭🇺: Alfa Biztosító won the 'Green Pledge trademark', an award for companies that are committed to environmental protection and sustainability.   🇹🇷: Ray Sigorta achieved the Silver Award in the 'Digital Transformation' category of the Smart-i Awards.    #Awards #VIG #Excellence
