Nibble, nibble, little mouse, who is nibbling at my house? 🏠 As part of a Take Care event, our team has once again put in a lot of hard work and creativity to assemble and decorate these beautiful gingerbread houses. We think it was worth the effort! 👏 Which gingerbread house is your favorite? ❤️

Happy International Men's Day 2024! 📆 Today, on November 19, we are celebrating our male colleagues 🥳 Our Take Care team has come up with a “push-up challenge” that really puts the muscles to work 💪 Many employees have already taken part in the challenge and every single one of them has really put their back into it. As a reward, each participant was given a small snack and a goodie.

Happy Halloween! 👻 For the spookiest event of the year, our employees were once again given the opportunity to show off their craft skills. The Take Care team therefore organized a pumpkin carving competition. As you can see, our employees really put their hearts and souls into it. We think the pumpkins are really impressive! 🎃 But since it was a competition, everyone wanted to know who scored in first place - congratulations to our Event Booking Center-Team with their Pumpkin “Dark Face”! 👏 

Cheers to our chefs! 🎉 On October 20, it was International Chef's Day - and we also celebrated it at the Vienna Marriott Hotel to honor our kitchen team 🙌 Usually our chefs work their magic in the kitchen, but this time we decided to turn the tables and the chefs were cooked for by our Take Care-team. They had vegan kebabs and we think they turned out really well! 😊

It's all about the aperitif! 🍹 For this reason, our Senior Chef de Rang Sükrü Düzgün held a training session on the aperitifs offered in the Parkring Restaurant. These include the classics and cocktails, but also our new SPECIAL SPRITZ menu. Sükrü trained the employees and prepared and tasted all the drinks with them 😊 The training was a great success! 👍

We did it! 🥳 This was the Marriott Austria Run 2024 🏃 Our goal: A virtual running event, organized by NextGen Council Austria, with the goal of 955 km – the route that connects all Marriott hotels in Austria. Tracking was carried out with a running app and money was donated to the ÖBSV (Österreichischer Behindertensportverband) for every kilometer run. These were the hotels that took part: The Ritz-Carlton, Vienna, Hotel Bristol Vienna , Hotel Imperial Wien, AC Hotel by Marriott Innsbruck, Courtyard by Marriott Linz, Sheraton Grand Salzburg, Imperial Riding School, Autograph Collection, Courtyard by Marriott Vienna Prater/Messe and us. 40 people participated and ran along. As a result, we were even able to exceed our goal with 1,154 km! 🏆 Our sponsor Brauunion Österreich rounded up to 1,200 € and the check was handed from our Bessi Sideris to Matthias Bogner from ÖBSV (Österreichischer Behindertensportverband). As a proud partner of the ÖBSV, we are so happy to celebrate our austrian nationalteam as the newly crowned European Champions in 3x3 wheelchair basketball 🥇

Last week our first “Brand Week” took place 📅 It was all about our Brand Marriott Hotels and Wonderful Hospitality. Always. The aim of this Brand Week was to bring the brand closer to the employees once again and to strengthen the team spirit with team activities and small challenges. Knowledge of the history, core values and more was put to the test in a quiz 💡 There were also guided tours designed to improve product knowledge and knowledge about Vienna and the area surrounding the hotel 📍 To further develop product knowledge a mini training session was held on Cachaça 🍸 Thanks to everyone who took part, it really was a great week! #ViennaMarriottHotel #BrandWeek2024
