VIRTUAL VEHICLE – Accelerating Innovation The Virtual Vehicle Research GmbH is Europe’s largest R&D center for virtual vehicle technology with 300 employees. Yet, women remain underrepresented in technical and scientific professions. Why? Often, it’s barriers such as a lack of role models or persistent biases that make the path more challenging. Coordinated by Virtual Vehicle Research GmbH in collaboration with 𝟏𝟑 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐀𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐚 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐆𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐲, this initiative aims to lay the foundation for a seamless implementation of DPP-based data-service ecosystems. ♻️ 𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐠𝐨𝐚𝐥? To provide guidelines and solution frameworks that tackle key technological and regulatory challenges. On January 29, 2025, Vienna hosted the event 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗡𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝘅𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, organized by the Federal Ministry for Climate Action, AustriaTech, FFG Österreichische Forschungsförderungsgesellschaft mbH, and the NAVISP Programme of the European Space Agency - ESA. 🚀 With over 60 participants, the event emphasized the critical role of Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (#PNT) technologies in tackling challenges like road traffic management, railway monitoring, and autonomous driving.
