Congratulations to our colleagues who graduated our #Ready2Grow program.🎓🚀 Over the past months, they expanded their skills. As the final part of the #talentprogram, they had their #PitchChallenge, showcasing the projects they had been working on. Behind the scenes of a production with our CEO Heimo Scheuch in his role as #president of Cerame-Unie. 🎬🌍🧱 We are currently recording statements about the importance of an inclusive #CleanIndustrialDeal.   The Clean Industrial Deal proposed by the European Commission must enhance the competitiveness of Europe's industries while advancing decarbonization efforts. For wienerberger the inclusion of the ceramic industry in the Clean Industrial Deal is crucial. The new Deal represents a pivotal opportunity for active engagement of all energy intensive companies, including multi-site business structures and SMEs such as ceramics, to build a more competitive Europe where no one is left behind. Challenges like high energy costs and rising carbon expenses as well as the availability and the access to sustainable energy sources, the lack of access to fundings and skills stimulation need to be addressed. We truly ask for an inclusive Clean Industrial Deal accompanied by a significant administrative burden and reporting reduction.
