Last week we had the opportunity to present the progress we have made so far towards making the European Federation for Cancer Images (EUCAIM) a European Digital Infrastructure Consortium (#EDIC) 🏢, upon project end. 🖥️ Our presentation wrapped up the workshop "Advancing data incorporation and interoperability for Cancer Image Europe", organized by EATRIS as part of the BioFIT Event, where our #EUCAIM colleagues showcased the collective efforts done to make EUCAIM part of a sustainable ecosystem of #interoperable digital infrastructures in #health in the European Union. 👉 Turning EUCAIM into an EDIC is the current main focus of the project's long term #sustainability efforts which we co-lead together with our partners at Euro-BioImaging and the University of Valencia. 💙 Special thanks to Nektarios L. and Sara Zullino, PhD for the great organization of the event! #innovation #healthcare #cancer #imaging

Advancing cancer imaging through data interoperability: A successful Hosted Event at #BioFIT2024! 🙌 We were thrilled to host the highly impactful workshop organised by EATRIS and European Federation for Cancer Images (EUCAIM), titled "Advancing Data Incorporation and Interoperability for Cancer Image Europe". This session brought together leading experts and organisations to explore innovative solutions for data standardisation and interoperability in cancer imaging. From insightful presentations on the EUCAIM consortium’s FAIR principles framework to case studies and platform demonstrations, the workshop empowered attendees to overcome challenges and apply real-world solutions to their biotech, medtech, and digital health projects.
