We recently hosted our annual WA holiday party in typical fashion, bringing the fun and a touch of whimsy to a night of celebration. We transformed the lawn outside The Camfield into the Italian Riveria, with accordion music, Italian wines and delicacies, stunning catering, gelato cart, live music, artists creating keepsake illustrations and so much more! It was an incredible evening spent eating, dancing and celebrating with all the people who else make the dream of home ownership in WA a reality. Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to making the night unforgettable. Special thanks to DG Global, Phenomenon Creative Event Services, Campari Group, Dal Studios, The Re Store (Leederville & Northbridge), Lauren Birkhead, DJ FADJ, Adept Photo Booths, Mr Accordion Man ., That Little Gelato Cart, Audience Revolution, Trudi Alderman, Abbey Hayes

Access to land plays a vital role in our ability to deliver the dream of home ownership. This is why our Land & Developer Partnering teams work hard to build lasting relationships with land developers across WA and Victoria. Our team in WA recently hosted a sundowner event to celebrate our developer partners and thank them for their support and collaboration across 2024. We loved creating a night of fun and frivolity to acknowledge them and their partnership. Our guests had fun ringing the bell at our interactive champagne wall, having caricatures drawn by local artists and snapping selfies at the roaming photo booth while enjoying incredible food and fantastic wines. A big congratulations to the land agents who won door prizes and a massive thank you to our amazing suppliers. It’s been a challenging year but the collective hard work made it a tremendous success and we hope you all enjoyed celebrating together! Yesterday we were incredibly proud to celebrate our 2024 ABN Group Employee of the Year and honour the contributions of our nominees. We have so many phenomenal people at ABN Group who make a massive impact on our customers, employees and the business every day. Their drive, attention to detail, care for others, and passion are what have seen us continue to flourish and grow as an industry leader. As our people are spread across WA and Victoria, this was a fantastic opportunity to come together, albeit virtually, and acknowledge the lasting positive impacts of our nineteen nominees. Our team in Leederville rigged all of our office TVs to broadcast the ceremony, enabling everyone to gather together throughout the building. It was great hearing the applause and excitement echo around the space. And our crew in Victoria chose an even cooler route to watch the ceremony, hiring out a cinema to experience it on the big screen! With snacks and other cool surprises, it was a fantastic way to come together and celebrate our people. Congratulations to both of our deserving winners and to all of the nominees! Congratulations to Daniel Robson who competed in The IRONMAN Group World Championship in Kailua-Koona, Hawaii. Daniel's story with ABN Group began when he purchased his first home with Boutique Homes. The positive experience and strong connection with his site supervisor, led to Daniel working with Boutique Homes for seven years. Daniel’s Ironman journey started four years ago after his brother was diagnosed with testicular cancer. Inspired by his brother’s previous competitions, Daniel organised a fundraiser during his brother’s treatment and set the challenge of competing in his first ironman event. This moment sparked a passion and the beginning of Daniel’s Ironman journey. After hearing Daniel’s inspiring story, ABN Group was proud to support him in reaching his goal of competing in the World Championships. What an incredible achievement – well done, Daniel.

Over 40 committed volunteers from ABN Group’s Melbourne office joined our leadership team to roll up their sleeves and travel to Cottage by the Sea, Queenscliff – a charity we feel deeply connected to as a business. Our team participated in a working bee, offering support in any way we could. With a wide range of skill sets and physical abilities, we ensured everyone could contribute their efforts meaningfully. Together, the team accomplished 3-4 months' worth of work in just one day. For nearly 85 years, Cottage by the Sea, Queenscliff has made a meaningful difference to the lives of countless children. Recent research from Deakin University highlights the lasting impact Cottage by the Sea, Queenscliff’s program has had since 1939. The findings revealed The Cottage fosters joy, builds strong relationships, provides a safe haven, and creates lasting, positive memories for the children who attend. ABN Group is proud to contribute to Cottage by the Sea, Queenscliff, recognising the long-lasting impact a visit to The Cottage can have on a child’s life.

A huge thank you to ABN Group Victoria’s Developments Team, who came together for a morning tea on Wednesday in support of the Polished Man campaign – a global movement encouraging everyone to paint one fingernail to raise awareness and donations to help end violence against women and children. An incredible morning tea with a nail-painting station, coffee and an array of delicious snacks, bringing everyone together for a meaningful cause. Thank you to the team, who raised funds to support the campaigns mission of ensuring no woman or child has to live with violence. A special thank you to Dan Rushton, Jake Martin and Nick Trento for organising such an important morning tea. At ABN Group, we believe it’s important to host and support events like these to drive change, raise awareness, and make a positive impact.
