    Sustainable Agriculture & Product Leadership

Thrilled to announce that I'm "mooooo-ving" ( 🐮 ) on to a new opportunity -- joining the Product Team at AgriWebb! I'll be focusing on scaling sustainability solutions and developing livestock tools for ranchers and enterprise customers in the US and beyond. Everyone I've met on the AgriWebb team is sharp and curious, the product is farmer-centric and thorough, and the problems we are solving for customers are complex and interesting. I'm excited to reconnect with colleagues across the agricultural value chain and partner on data collection, MRV, and insetting/offsetting projects. The cherry on top? Getting my boots on the ground at some of the beautiful ranches around my home base in Ridgway, Colorado (pictured below) and across the mountain west! Livestock is a brand new world to me. If you're a rancher, I'd love to connect and learn about how you manage your herd. Likewise, if you're a brand or CPG, let's chat so I can better understand the tools you need to create a more resilient and transparent supply chain. • One of our favourite things about working at #AgriWebb is the diverse set of #passions our team possesses. Knowing that great teams aren’t just built in the office—they’re built on shared experiences, connections, and a bit of fun—we’re celebrating a “Share Your Passion” activity each month, designed to bring our team together through their hobbies and interests. Kicking things off, Alex Dess led our first session with his passion: rock climbing. The group gathered at an indoor rock climbing facility, testing their grip strength, conquering walls, and cheering each other on. 🧗♂️💪 What’s coming up over the next few months? Our team will be trying out meditation, bouldering, drawing, and even a band jam session. 🧘 ✏️ 🎸 At AgriWebb, we’re more than job titles—we’re a community of unique talents, and we can’t wait to share more of our team’s passions with you. #teamculture #officeculture #agtech

  • We couldn't be more proud to partner with the National Grazing Lands Coalition and Regrow Ag on Legacy Landscapes, a sustainability program funded by Nestlé Purina North America. There's power in collaboration, and this program is built on just that. Designed with ranchers in mind, participants receive direct, on-the-ground support from the National Grazing Lands Coalition to identify practices that improve the productivity and efficiency of their operations. These practices are then tracked in our livestock management software—because, as the saying goes, “You can’t manage what you don’t measure.” Participating ranchers can expect: ✅ An in-person kickoff consultation with NatGLC to identify the most impactful areas for improvement. ✅ Free access to our livestock management software, allowing you to manage all aspects of your business—even offline. ✅ Ongoing, free technical assistance from NatGLC and AgriWebb to support you every step of the way. ✅ Payments for the outcomes achieved through your practice adoption. #agtech #sustainability #carboninsetting #grazing

Have you heard about Legacy Landscapes? NatGLC is excited about the Legacy Landscapes Program-- designed to give farmers & ranchers the credit they’re due for their stewardship of our grazing lands. This initiative aims to support livestock producers in record keeping and implementing grazing land improvements that benefit both their operation and the environment. The program is being funded by Nestle® Purina PetCare, who utilizes beef byproducts in their petfood, and has a carbon reduction goal to reduce emissions within their supply chain. Through participation, producers will receive access to an operation-level management software program through AgriWebb, assistance from NatGLC in utilizing the software along with technical assistance and consultation for their operation, and guidance on financial opportunities to make their goals reality. Legacy Landscapes is currently recruiting producers to participate within the state of Texas with expansion into additional states as soon as possible. NatGLC is currently recruiting ranchers to participate in the Legacy Landscapes Program in Texas with expansion into additional states in the future. To learn more, visit us at https://lnkd.in/gfaqhjJz #LegacyLandscapes #technicalassistance #cattleranching #NatGLC #AgriWebb #Purina #regrowag #texas #kansas #nebraska

  • Kenny Sabir and Amy Cosby, a dairy farmer and Associate Professor in Agri-Tech Education at Central Queensland University, recently discussed the tech revolution happening in Australian agriculture in an interview with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC). With a continuously growing global population requiring more food to be produced without using additional land—while also lowering emissions—Agtech is increasingly seen as a key part of the solution. Here are a few key takeaways from their conversation: ⭐ While there’s no silver bullet, Agtech innovators are focusing on various areas—including livestock, grazing lands, and water management—to help address this challenge. ⭐ Amy shared, "Farmers in Australia are innovative and are always looking for ways to improve their bottom line. While doing that, they’re also thinking about emissions, animal welfare, and lifestyle... Agtech helps with that." ⭐ The relationship between farmers and Agtech solutions must be mutually beneficial. Agtech companies need to engage with farmers to truly understand their challenges and develop solutions that address them. At the same time, farmers must invest in Agtech that enhances their productivity and efficiency—because, as Kenny pointed out, without farmer adoption, Agtech solutions struggle to take off. ⭐ Collaboration is key. With Agtech and industry leaders working on solutions like Foragecaster, progress is being made in AI-driven technology that can helps farmer predict, plan, and respond to external factors such as weather and market trends. 🎧 Listen to the full interview here: https://lnkd.in/gJATEEtb #agtech #sustainability #foodsecurity #australiaagriculture
