Meet Dr Goachagorn Darathai, newly graduated Queensland doctor and 2024 recipient of an AMA Queensland Foundation Medical Student Scholarship.     With the support of the Foundation scholarship, Dr Darathai was able to continue her final year of medicine. She is now interning at Townsville University Hospital, with a long-term goal to become a cardiothoracic surgeon.     “I am immensely grateful for the support of the AMA Queensland Foundation. This scholarship has provided invaluable assistance, allowing me to focus on my studies and clinical training without financial stress. Your generosity has inspired me to excel and give back to the medical community in the future.
