Today Andromeda announced that Miguel J. Galindo, a highly experienced and globally recognised expert in industrial minerals, will be joining the Board of Andromeda as a Non-Executive Director. As a consultant, Miguel has championed the high-quality kaolin products from the #GreatWhiteProject and has been instrumental in managing the independent test work undertaken by both the ITC and Iberoclays, which confirmed world class brightness, colour and aluminium to iron ratio, attracting premium pricing for their value in use in the manufacture of high-quality ceramic tiles and ceramic porcelain tableware. He was also instrumental in Andromeda’s entry into the high-value European market, developing the relationship with IberoClays, which led to the signing of a binding offtake agreement.  In addition to his appointment as a director, Miguel will continue to manage Andromeda’s relationships in Europe, introducing our products to potential customers, and assisting with the testing and demonstration of the Company’s product’s high-quality and superior value in use. Miguel is also: - President of the Spanish Glass & Ceramics Society (Sociedad Española de Cerámica y Vidrio- SECV). Founded in 1960 as a non-profit organisation, the SECV is formed by more than 200 individual members (researchers, scientists and technicians) and more than 70 corporate partners and Technical Institutes in the glass and ceramic field in Spain. - a Non-Executive Director at Port-Sur, the largest operator at the Port of Castellon, Spain, and, - a member of the Technical Committee at Qualicer, the International Congress on Ceramic tile quality.  The Company is in the process of completing formalities and expects Mr Galindo’s appointment to take effect following the upcoming Annual General Meeting to be held on 21 November. Andromeda has raised a total of $3.82 million (before costs) following the completion of a Placement and 1-for-13 pro-rata Entitlement Offer. Both were undertaken at 1.2 cents per fully paid ordinary share, with a free attaching listed option (ADNOC) for every new share, exercisable at 1.75 cents and expiring 30 September 2027. Australian Government awards R&D “Advance Finding” for the #GreatWhiteProject, enabling Andromeda to claim refundable tax offsets or cash rebates for 43.5% of eligible expenditure of up to ~$26 million over a three-year period. Sarah Clarke, Acting CEO said: “We thank the Australian Government for the support this decision brings.
