Thank you to everyone, from clients and partners to suppliers and old friends, for all your support in 2024. On 20th December we celebrate one year of AskRIGHT operating under new owners and what a year it has been! As we reach the end of 2024 and reflect back on the past twelve months we feel overwhelmingly proud and grateful for the work we have played a role in and the organisations and individuals who have put their trust in us this year. We love the opportunity to spend time with our clients to really get under the skin of the organisations we're working with. Our consultant Fi Riley had a fantastic trip to visit the team at New Zealand College of Chiropractic last week and understand more about this special place.

We're delighted to introduce the latest member of AskRIGHT. We're so excited that Kora has joined our South Island team. As our new head of happiness she is in charge of wellbeing, naps and taking breaks from the desk for long walks. She's had a busy first week joining our weekly huddle, our monthly board meeting and making sure our Managing Director Clare Bridle is on top of her treats game! Please join us in welcoming Kora to the family.

Engaging stakeholders is often the secret ingredient to making magic happen with your projects and strategies. Our MD, Clare had the pleasure of attending the Bellyful New Zealand National Hui over the weekend. It was 2 days filled with passion and inspiration thanks to the hard work put in by the Bellyful NZ team and a wonderful line up of speakers including Bellyful CE Sheena Revington and the amazing Gemma McCaw. It's an absolute privilege for us work alongside awesome teams like this!

There’s something wonderful about the buzz of meeting up as a team or group. Taking time away from your desks and day jobs to think differently about a challenge, plan or how you work together means tapping into team talents, listening and learning from each other and creating something more than the sum of your parts. There is a lot of value in coming together as a team in a structured setting to make use of your collective knowledge and expertise. Meeting in this way could mean in person or online, and AskRIGHT have run many successful team sessions remotely that get outcomes as positive as those held in person. What is important is utilising the time you are working with efficiently to focus on the outputs needed, whichever forum you choose for your meeting. This week celebrated International Coffee Day... but not everyone in the office was celebrating. As a team divided on our go to drink of choice to put a little pep in our step, we had to disclose the clear divide between those who are coffee lovers and those who are tea aficionados. Where do you fall down on the AskRIGHT elevenses divide?

It’s mental health awareness week and this year’s theme is ‘Community is what we create together’. For #WhānauWednesday we wanted to share how our directors connect and create a community. Each week we hold a huddle where we meet to chat through our work. We kick off the meeting by checking in with how we’re feeling and how our work load is. It’s important for us to share how we are and anything that may be coming up in our week that our company community can support with. How do you create your community?
