Our World Class Training Facility Guarantees Athletes Improves Athleticism Or Rehab Their Injury... Or Your Money Back.

About us

Our Strength & Conditioning gym in Artarmon helps athletes find the answers to elite athleticism by bulletproofing their body and instilling the confidence they need to succeed. We live and breathe sports. It's what we love to talk about, be entertained by and see athletes succeed in. Our vision is to help athletes across the globe reach higher, achieve more and stay in love with the game for longer... because there is nothing else like the love of sport. While an athlete's goals may change, the pursuit of improved performance never ends. While an athlete's goals may change from season to season, there are two things that never will. The first constant is that every athlete wants to hold themselves to a higher standard. They want to raise the bar, push the boundaries and reach a level of performance they haven't had before. There is always the belief that you can reach higher and achieve more. The second is that they want to win. No athletes make the sacrifices they do so that they can turn up and lose. It's in every elite athlete's DNA. The desire to win is like oxygen for the soul. An athlete can't live without it. The only way to achieve this level of success is to develop a GamePlan unique to the individual. This GamePlan follows a simple philosophy that we turned into a training system: Minimise The Downside (Injury) While Pursuing The Upside (Performance). Whether you're an aspiring amateur or Australian Olympian, this system helps athletes at any point in their career reach a higher level of performance. With our system, you will develop a bulletproof body and mindset that is ready to succeed. Our system combines in-person coaching with virtual and mobile support so that every athlete who wants more, can achieve more. With our performance and rehabilitation programs, you'll always have expert guidance within reach.

  • There's a saying that if you want to be a professional athlete, you have to act like a professional athlete. And it starts with an environment that replicates pro sport. Having a brand new shiny facility is one thing... But it ultimately comes down filling that facility with the things you need to go pro. That starts with other athletes all looking to achieve more in their sport… To build the competitive environment every athlete thrives on. Then adding expert coaches willing to go above and beyond for their athletes... To try and find the 1% that will give them a completive advantage over their opponents. What do these two key elements of any great facility lead to? Giving you, the athlete, tools to take into pro sport with you for life. And fore us, that's when we know we’ve made a real difference to someones athletic career. Does this sound like something you’re missing in your training? 2023 is officially half way over, don’t let another 6 months slip by waiting the perfect moment to start.

  • When it comes to core training for athletes, full range of motion training is only part of the equation. Ultimately, we want to train reactive core strength. The ability to stabilise your midsection when things get unpredictable, like in the exercise shown here.  In situations with rapid, unpredictable stimuli, muscles like the obliques and those around the shoulder girdle must fire quickly, helping you maintain control.  This type of training is a game-changer for athletes in contact sports, where stability and reaction time are key.

  • Athletes and their parents know that strength and conditioning training is essential for long-term success, injury prevention, and peak performance. Yet, despite this awareness, many hesitate to commit due to a "busy schedule." The reality? Life will always be busy. The deeper reason behind this delay often stems from psychological biases rather than an actual lack of time. Understanding these barriers can help you take action now rather than later. Here are the most common barriers that we see and 5 steps to overcoming them.

  • Testing week highlights… 1️⃣ @deanmitro a footie player coming into season - In his SPP phase just touching some anaerobic ES and explosive strength work. @nathanebenezer programs this different to some. He programs Dean’s explosive strength efforts by time (7-9s increasing over weeks) as opposed to straight reps of 3 or 4 like some. ❓Have/Do you program explosive efforts in the gym by time❓ 2️⃣ Dean’s squat - Same phase as the previous video. Last big heavy nudge setting some high load rep records at 87%. ‼️NB we spent time teaching him to bail out of a squat safely. Lots of athletes and coaches don't do this. 3️⃣ Drop Jump Testing attempt. Current best jumper for pure height across AA in MLB and SYD! The numbers shown at the end are contact time and RSI score based on 2 different equations. ❓Which RSI equation do you use❓ 4️⃣ @erin.flip.physio taking @takara.sharp through some ACLr testing This is just 1 hop test of a battery of 4 Erin does. There's a SL hop test, Triple hop test, Crossover hop test and lateral hop test for time (30s) Takara is late stage rehab and looking to make her RTP this season! 5️⃣ Triple hop test 6️⃣ 10m acceleration testing. Reveals how well the athlete applies force to the ground and how efficiently they transition into their sprinting mechanics Are you performance testing regularly❓❓❓

  • There are 2 ways to grow a successful business. One is to learn the hard way, making mistakes along the journey (and trust me, I've had my fair share of those). The other? Modelling. Great businesses don’t have to be first to market. They take what’s already working, refine it, and make it even better. Think of Walmart, Twitter, Google, and SpaceX. They didn’t invent the wheel – they made it spin faster. That’s exactly what we’re doing with our Coach Immersion Program. Over three packed days, we’ll hand you the keys to successful models in business, training, and rehab. Then it’s up to you to take them and make them even better. The next program launches on 9th of April, and we’re ready to show you how it’s done. Don’t reinvent the wheel, just make it spin faster. Ready to join us? 👉 https://lnkd.in/gXyAKcKj

  • Let's take lower body training to the next level!  In Module 4 of our VBT course with @GymAware, we dive into our lower body variants. Whether it's setting up key exercises, tracking athlete progress, or seeing real-time feedback on the app, this module makes it easy to coach and monitor.  With velocity-based targets (think 0.8 m/s) and options for both free weights and machines, you can keep athletes moving at their best, even when they can’t load their back. Unlock smarter training for your athletes now – sign up for your free course today! https://lnkd.in/es35tymy #VBT #VelocityBasedTraining #GymAware #LowerBody #AthleteDevelopment

  • FROM THE GYM FLOOR 💥 Check out our athletes in action this month. 1️⃣ @luke.bakos (Soccer) – Box squat to reduce range and increase load, preparing for the running demands of the season ahead. 2️⃣ @izzyantoniou (Soccer) – Same lift as Luke. Reduced range allows increased weight with a focus on power development. 3️⃣ @noahchia (Combat) – Using bands to punch through the bottom of the lift with intent as the resistance increases on the way back up. 4️⃣ @lili.kablau (AFL & 7s Rugby) – Romanian deadlift - It’s important for athletes to chase range throughout pre-season and in-season in the right context. Posterior chain loading is an important part of this. It’s all about the transfer from the gym to sport—maximising force and velocity to elevate performance across multiple disciplines. #AthleteDevelopment #AthletesAuthority #StrengthAndConditioning #SportsPerformance #GymToSport #AFL #Rugby #Soccer #CombatSports #MaxForceMaxVelocity #S&C

  • Melbourne athletes in action - using plyos to improve their performance 1️⃣ @erin.mckinnon_23 (VFLW) focuses on upper body power to excel in the ruck, with overhead aerial work and tackling drills that prepare her for high-contact situations on the footy field. 2️⃣ @megginnivan (VFLW) targets lower body power to boost agility and explosiveness, enhancing her ability to change direction and accelerate quickly on the field. 3️⃣ @samritchie_ (AFLW Umpire) demonstrates a double-contact hurdle hop to increase reactive strength and lower-leg control, key for maintaining stability and quick movement when officiating. #Plyometrics #AthletesAuthority #SportsPerformance #AFLW #VFLW #RuckTraining
