My brother battled prostate cancer and now my good friend and incredible animation producer, Rodney Whitham, is currently battling prostate cancer. Rodney’s creativity and dedication have brought joy to countless audiences through his work, but now he's facing a challenging journey. Prostate cancer is one of the most common cancers among men, yet awareness and early detection efforts remain underfunded. What I love most about my role in VFX is the diversity. Great VFX starts with great foundational elements captured in camera. For this particular feature film effect I headed to one of my favourite places - the workshop - to design a bespoke piece of hardware essential for achieving those elements.
