On the 25th of September, we had the honour of being invited once again to attend and speak at the 2024 AIMA Australia Annual Forum; a leading event dedicated to Alternative Investments. This year’s forum brought together worldwide industry leaders for another exceptional day of knowledge sharing. Yesterday, our ASAM members attended an event hosted by Longreach Alternatives and had the invaluable opportunity to hear from its VP and Co-Founder of Longreach Sirius - Max Robins-Burnard, Evidentia Groups’ Asset Consulting Principal Hugh Holden and Realm Investment House’s Senior BDM Matthew Blair. The ASAM team obtained key insights and advice into the world of funds management and distribution. These discussions underscored the vast career trajectories available for the new generation of finance graduates and the importance of relationship-building skills, leaving the ASAM team inspired and equipped with fresh perspectives to apply in their professional journey. Last Wednesday, our ASAM members had the opportunity to attend an Analysis Workshop, hosted by Regal Funds Management. This much-anticipated event gave our members the opportunity to hear from one of Australia's most recognised and awarded alternative investment managers, and presented an invaluable chance to learn. We would like to thank Portfolio Manager James Sioud, Investment Analysts Surianti S., Hao Do and Thomas Fawcett for sharing their time and expertise.
