About us
The Ayurveda Awareness Center is a Place for Holistic Therapy Based on Ancient Universal Wisdom. Ayurveda, "the science of life", came into existence more than 5000 years ago. Ayurveda comprises the entire knowledge of the highly advanced vedic culture, with the objective to preserve, promote and restore health. Living in today's world is hugely stressful to the body and mind. Mistakes in our diet, lifestyle, emotional, mental and physical stress, pollution from the environment, and just rushing around, all take their toll on our body's metabolism over time. Toxic substances accumulate in the tissues and eventually lead to imbalances, disease and the deterioration associated with aging. Ayurveda has remained relevant in today's fast paced lifestyle as this wisdom understands that man is part of nature and the laws that govern nature are the very same unchanging laws that govern man.
