The 2025 Adelaide Dining Magazine awards will be held at Mount Lofty House Estate this December where BPR are proudly sponsoring the Women in Food Award. As a female-led-and-run agency, we feel particularly honoured to sponsor this award, which recognises the oustanding contributions and accomplishments of exstablished female foodie figures and acts as a state-wide “thank you” for their commitment to the hospitality sector in South Australia. The finalists for this year’s award are Anna Aiossa of Sosta Argentinian Kitchen, Jessica Favaro-Richards from Favaro Group and Enoteca’s Natalie Fazzari.

Last Friday we were joined by members of the Joint Committee on the Legalisation of Medicinal Cannabis to officially open IvyMed Clinic’s two new South Australian clinics, located at Norwood and Salisbury. This tied in with the committee’s announcement of 13 recommendations from a report that was tabled in parliament last week, including to change driving laws for medicinal cannabis patients. “…Nothing prepares you for being told you have cancer… I cried, I laughed, I bargained while pretending I wasn’t scared.” Last week, in her own words, Ali Clarke opened up about how a routine check with her GP became so much more, and just how quickly her life changed after. Since Ali shared her breast cancer diagnosis on-air, she has continued to raise awareness for checking your breasts with Mix102.3’s Check Your Breasts campaign. Last week Ali, alongside other women who have experienced breast cancer, drove through Adelaide on a Boob Bus. Ali, thank you for sharing your diagnosis with the community and for your ongoing work to spread awareness. And thank you to The Advertiser for running the campaign.

On Wednesday night we launched Rosa Mexicano on The Parade. We were joined by vibrant dancers from Latin dance studio, La Bomba, our emcee for the night the wonderful Elizabeth Barbaro, Elio from The Three Amigos Plus 1, while tunes flowed from Leah Tait as we welcomed guests to their new restaurant with “the essence of Mexico”. The lively interior is filled with fun colours and renditions of Frida Kahlo’s bold self-portraits. “Rosa Mexicano” translates to Mexican pink and Mexican rose and is a nod to the shopping, nightlife and pride hotspot, “Zona Rosa”, in Mexico City. The menu showcases modern Mexican flavours with stuffed jalapenos, street style corn, and Mexican croquette as starters and tacos, ensaladas, enchiladas and burritos for mains as well as chimichangas, paella and fajitas for platos. Rosa Mexicano is now open on 218 The Parade, Norwood 7 days from 11.30am. Thank you at Cinematic Events for capturing the night beautifully!

Happy 10th Birthday to Krispy Kreme SA 🍩 To celebrate, we’re taking it back to a creative brand activation that BPR masterminded to launch the opening of its Adelaide Airport store. We worked with the teams at Krispy Kreme SA, Adelaide Airport, and Virgin Australia to surprise and delight travellers as we replaced their luggage with boxes of the sweet treat to take home. We had an amazing time working with a talented team to execute the campaign, which won an international award through Krispy Kreme.
