As the curtain draws on 2024 we enjoyed the last of the industry events, Women in Insurance QLD Christmas Luncheon. Highly regarded as the pinnacle of the events held, this year did not disappoint. The spirit of the event is one not replicated elsewhere nationally, fueled by the entertainers Geedupband, there were many that “carved up the dance floor” like they were in Studio 54 Congratulations Rebecca Johnson (Brewster) and the entire committee for all the effort expended to provide the perfect finale for the year. Charities Ambulance Wish Queensland and Lovewell Foundation Australia were the benefactors of all that reached deep into their pockets . The BENTINO Team will be back “Front and Centre” for this event next year that is for sure .

We were proud to be the Platinum Sponsor of the 2024 AICLA - NSW & ACT Division Race Day held at Royal Randwick Raceday 5 December . It was fabulous to see so many industry colleagues brave the “unseasonal humid day“ and celebrate the final industry event of the year in such great spirit . Thank you to Colin M. and the Committee for all the effort. Whilst there may have been a few winners on the track, the big winner was the “Tribal Warrior Aboriginal Corporation” who were the beneficiary of the funds raised on the day.

As we draw the curtains on 2024 the BENTINO Family enjoyed great company and even greater banter at our Christmas Party. To our hosts Alegre Bar and Dining at King St Wharf, what exceptional hospitality, we can’t thankyou enough. It fills us with warmth to see the team enjoy such an evening in the right spirit. How quickly 12 months comes around. Here is a little throwback to last year’s raceday. Only 3 days to go to the the final networking event of the season. BENTINO are proud to be Platinum Sponsor of the AICLA - NSW & ACT Division Charity Race Day this Friday December 6th at Randwick Racecourse. Hosted at The Stables at Randwick Racecourse all proceeds from this event will be donated to Tribal Warrior Aboriginal Corporation – a very worthwhile charity helping local kids and families. We are looking forward to the social and networking opportunity as we collectively raise money for charity whilst enjoying the atmosphere of Randwick Racecourse.

Women in Insurance NSW Christmas Breakfast 2024. Thank you to the Women in Insurance committee for another amazing year and Sedgwick for their support in sponsoring the “share the dignity” breakfast. Wishing everyone a safe and happy Christmas with your loved ones and we look forward to doing all again next year.

Well in my 25 years in the business this one is a first. Make Safe carried out to a 35m gum tree that lightening went straight through the centre of the 2.5m base and split the tree in half. We were able to drop the tree safely with some crafty ingenuity. Well done to the team on the ground with a safety first approach as always.
