Breaking New Ground at Bellevue Gold Mine. We're excited to share another successful project completion. Our team recently tackled a challenging Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) project at Bellevue Gold Mine, showcasing our expertise in handling complex terrain and technical requirements. Project highlights include: ✔️ Specialised installation methodology using air hammer drilling & air hammer forward reaming. ✔️ 4 precision drill shots across the Goldfields Highway. ✔️ Installation of critical communications and power infrastructure. ✔️ Mastery over challenging ground conditions including solid Basalt and weathered shales. The project was completed ahead of schedule in just 17 days, delivering great results that exceeded our client's expectations. Want to read more? Project Completion at Paraburdoo, Pilbara. Boretech was engaged by a valued client to install communications conduits between Tom Price and Paraburdoo using Air Hammer HDD. Initially tasked with 2 drill shots (225m & 198m), we were able to add a third shot of 170m to our scope. Working through tough conditions like high-strength rock (basalt, granite, and shale), our team expertly navigated vertical height changes and creek crossings while maintaining efficient site setups. Special shoutout to our crew for managing cutting returns and successfully training two new personnel in Air Hammer operations. Project Completion at RTIO West Angeles Mine! Our Boretech team recently tackled an exciting challenge as part of the WAAW Turee B Borefield upgrade. We successfully installed a DN710mm sleeve, navigating 91.5 metres under the mine's Autonomous Haul road using our Vermeer HDD drills. Despite tough, abrasive ground conditions and 58m3 of cuttings to remove, our crew remained focused, stepping up reamer sizes to achieve the final 900mm bore diameter. Safety and efficiency were our top priorities, with two hard working crews rotating to get the job done. 👏 Huge thanks to the team for their persistence and skill!
