We had a fantastic morning celebrating International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD) in Inverell yesterday! Thank you to everyone who joined our party in the park. A big shout out to a wonderful, local business Sapphire City Locksmiths for donating the bread for our sausage sizzle! IDPwD is held on December 3 each year and aims to promote community awareness, understanding and acceptance of people with disability. The theme for 2024 is amplifying leadership of persons with disabilities for an inclusive and sustainable future. We hope you all enjoyed making cloud slime, arts and crafts, lawn games, and all of our activities today. As an organisation we will continue to support choice, opportunity, inclusion and acceptance each and every day. How did you celebrate IDPwD?
