Es wird dabei auf die Playmaker Metrik hingewiesen, die bei The Sports Hackdays entwickelt, von scoreTec und Keith Lawless (Vordaten) weiter ausgearbeitet und am Spengler Cup Davos vorgestellt wurde. Another busy but enjoyable weekend across Six Nations Rugby having landed back into London and getting home late on. Always love hosting hospitality ahead of the England games and it was great to be able to pick the brains of former England fly half Charlie Hodgson & ex Scotland winger Sean Maitland to get their thoughts on what was going to play out. I didn’t get to watch the game but had to hot foot it to Heathrow for a flight to Rome. Italy v France on World Feed commentary on Sunday in beautiful conditions across Rome. An incredibly tough day at the office for the Italians; they faced a French team who bounced back in style from what was clearly a loss that hurt at Twickenham a couple of weeks ago. Brilliant to see Catapult technology being used in Stadio Olimpico helping these sides perform at their best. The away trips are a great chance to have a look about some of the places I’m lucky enough to visit; a 12km walk around Rome can’t be a bad Sunday morning! Back to it today. Have a great week. 🙌🏼

Another trip to 🇺🇸 concluding and what a fantastic few days again. This year - despite the best efforts of the weather - I was able to enjoy the magic of the Daytona 500 with NASCAR back at Daytona International Speedway. What a great event with spectacular racing throughout all series. Then down to Sebring for a couple of days with INDYCAR series as they head towards their first event of 2025 in St Petersburg next weekend - always beautiful sunsets and sunrises in the Sebring area! And finally a couple of days with our partners at The Concours Club checking in on our systems there and talking future developments. Credit to Jack Heggie and Andy Blake from Catapult for getting us set up and on our way to revolutionise our workflow at Doncaster Rovers FC. To be the only club at EFL (English Football League) League Two level using the live data, delivered by Opta Sports and Stats Perform with the help of Simon Davison into the MatchTracker system is a credit to the club and shows their ambition and commitment to our department through their investment. Our workflow has improved with an automated tagging process, live visualisations, charts, pitch maps and graphs which update by the minute, in addition to the personalised tactical tagging inline with the playing philosophy - all delivered via a live feed to a tablet on the bench to be used by the coaches is just a small step along a longer road to get to the next level.
