About us
Deliver Access + Promote Inclusion. Cérge is an award winning set of health technologies solving two of the biggest barriers to community participation, sport & leisure and accessible tourism for the disability community i.e.: 1. A lack of public information about venue/destination accessibility 2. How people are perceived and treated by service teams. The Cérge Content Management Platform delivers a stepped change in public information about venue accessibility so customers can "Know Before They Go" to increase confidence and participation. As the industry leading venue profiling solution the Cérge Content Management Platform delivers 360 degree Virtual Tours, Visual Story & Sensory Guides, Audio Guides powered by A.I., Access Guides, Digital Communication Boards and Keyword Sign Boards. The Cérge Content Management Platform allows for cost efficient outsourcing for the creation and ongoing management of Accessible Content and promotion of venue accessibility via a White Labelled Solution, Web Listing & In-App venue listing services. For organisations differentiating through exceptional customer service, the Cérge Companion App allows customers with disability, parents, carers & support workers to discreetly inform service staff before arrival of essential “about me” information directly to Point of Sale, Tablet or Smart Phone. Increasing staff confidence with precise and timely information ensures empathetic customer service experiences that improve independence, mental health and deliver life changing outcomes. “Imagine having your own personal disability advocate in your pocket to help overcome any Social Barriers, fears & anxieties to improve outcomes and reduce NDIS budget pressures.” That is the power of Cérge. In a series of firsts, Cérge is proud to support the team at Fawkner Leisure Centre, YMCA Victoria & Merri-bek City Council reopen to the community. To support participation for all people, Cérge was set no small task to have all our digital accessible tools ready for Opening Day (Sunday). The primary challenge was timing to access the facility once the rebuild was complete. The builders granted our team access on the Thursday. So in theory we had a 72hr turn around window from Site Visit to Go Live. Thanks to the incredible collaborative efforts of the Fawkner Leisure Centre team and our ongoing investment into process and innovation enhancements, our full 'Advanced Technology for Access & Inclusion' was live within 24hrs! (yep by midday Friday in time for the Friends, Family and Supporters day). Thrilled to showcase the impact, efficiency and effectiveness of this collaboration delivering in a 24hr turnaround from site inspection to live accessible content including a 360 degree Virtual Tour, Visual Story and Sensory Guide, Audio Guide, Digital Communication Board, Keyword Signboard, Companion Website, Companion App AND integrated by White Label onto Fawkner Leisure Centre's website. Just WOW!!! Team Cérge worked around the clock and I am super proud of our nimble and dedicated crew. And we are only getting started with bringing Advanced Technology to Access & Inclusion to improve participation of all people in #sport, #leisure, #recreation, #tourism, #education, #retail and #health industries. There is so much to do, so many improvements, that technology can deliver all aimed specifically to improve the lives of people with disability. The confidence to "Know Before You Go" and be assured of a Warm Welcome is an essential component of #inclusion. Check out the Fawkner Leisure Centre website for all the accessibility information in the comments below. Thank you YMCA Victoria & Merri-bek City Council for the opportunity. 👏👏 Tess Craigie + Kim Critchley + Adrian Hirsh

Forever grateful for our Innovation Partner in Belgravia Foundation and Belgravia Leisure for backing Cérge before we had a single venue and little more than a fancy prototype app. And now over 100 venues in the Leisure Industry alone on our platform, WOW! Such a partnership between #Enterprise and #StartUp is critical for new industry innovations. THANKYOU!!!
Cérge has been successfully implemented in over 100 leisure venues, marking a remarkable milestone as we approach the end of 2024. What began as an initiative at Nambour Aquatic Centre, has grown into a transformative program enhancing guest experiences across Australia and New Zealand. In partnership with Belgravia Foundation, this groundbreaking communication technology has become a game-changer in the leisure sector. Paving the way for greater access and engagement across industries such as tourism and community services. A brilliant accessibility option for events: Cérge (Free this year for QLD event businesses) There are 3 key things that help travellers with disability (96% of whom don't use a wheelchair or mobility device): 1. Easily accessible information on how an event is accessible (even if it isn't wheelchair accessible) 2. Customer service that is inclusive and compassionate 3. Infrastructure such as highly contrasting colours to help people with low vision to navigate and wheelchair access (such as paved pathways) Cérge is a solution for the first - it provides comprehensive information in many ways so people with access needs can make decisions about where to travel. Cerge provides content for your website, their website, and their app on how your event is accessible. The fee is very affordable, starting at $600 set up and $600 per year (price is based on the complexity of the sensory environment and the number of zones e.g. entry, stage area, market area) Check out how Cerge works from a user's perspective (for a business, but the principles apply for an event): https://lnkd.in/gRzn6ix2 https://cerge.app Now for the free for QLD businesses part! In the Tourism Business Digital Adaption Program, event businesses can get up to $2,500 in rebates to improve their digital capabilities - and Cerge is a preferred supplier! https://lnkd.in/gY_PHJ6S

Cérge did it! 50 Sports Venues in 50 Days! After winning the Inclusive Tech Challenge during the NRL Magic Round Tech Showcase our commitment to the Queensland Government, Advance Queensland and the Department of Tourism and Sport was to onboard 50 Sports Venues in 50 days. Truth be told over the last 50 days our team has performed site assessments for 96 venues. Right across Australia and also the Middle East. To provide context about the sheer scale of change for Cérge. We are just over 5 yrs old and it took 4yrs to reach 100 venues, a further 9months to reach 200 venues. So, 96 venues in 50 days is… big. The lessons learned over the past 50days have been profound. We timed the start of the 50in50 with the introduction of new AI powered tools to support Site Consultants efficiently and consistently capture content. As a result of this stepped change, we know have an entirely new product development pipeline of innovations aimed to support confidence and participation for people with disability. However, the biggest challenge over the past 50 days was logistics. Co-ordinating 96 separate venues within such a condensed time frame was no small feat. Fortunately, Victoria Kerrisk my fellow co-founder and wife is an absolute rockstar and somehow made it work. And in that time as I have been crisscrossing Australia, Vic and I even managed to meetup in Daylesford one of our favourite country towns in rural Victoria, to celebrate our 20yrs wedding anniversary. Stress has been high, sleep has been low but wow, what an adventure. Chat next week. Video Blog # 6 #KnowBeforeYouGo #Access #Inclusion

Seismic Shift - Access & Inclusion # 5. This week Access & Inclusion at Cérge has been all about the Queensland Tourism Industry Council and their exciting Digital Adaption Program. Queensland Tourism Operators are eligible for a $2,500 Rebate when adopting new Digital Technologies. Once again thanks to the Queensland Government for backing this initiative. Cérge is most fortunate to be selected as a supplier for the Digital Adaption Program. With a fund size of $4.5M this means that a total of 1,800 operators are eligible. In a super smart move QTIC ensured that Local Council Tourism Initiatives and Event are also eligible to be funded, and by adopting Cérge become more inclusive. Time is limited to apply to the Digital Adaption Program, so check out the totally simple application process in the comments below. And this week we are here in Whitsundays and Airlie Beach, with local airports, hotels and resorts taking up the Digital Adaption Program and adopting Cérge across the region. We are really excited to see Cérge support tourists with disability here in the Whitsundays. In our work we take lots of photos, virtual tours and we create many different sensory guides. This week has indeed been a pleasure describing where we are... Chat next week. 💜💜💜 Whitsunday Regional Council + Tourism Whitsundays #Tourism #DigitalAdaptionProgram + Australian Tourism Industry Council
