🚧 PROJECT AWARD: Macquarie Rise, Macquarie Park We're pleased to announce another exciting project added to our portfolio! Chalouhi will be the principal contractor for the demolition, excavation and shoring package at the mixed-use Macquarie Rise project, located at 122 Herring Road, Macquarie Park. Working alongside our project partners TOGA, we’ll be undertaking the setup of environmental controls, demolition, bulk earthworks, detailed excavation, capping beam, shoring piles, shotcrete, temporary anchors and foundation piles. We’re excited to be contributing to the ongoing development of Macquarie Park with this vibrant new village. The project will offer a resort-style experience, including a lap pool, club lounge, gym, cinema room, over 3,600m² of commercial space, a park, a two-to-three-level basement, and over 1,200m² of retail space. Working in partnership with Baptist Union NSW, Morling College and TOGA, we’re looking forward to building another prosperous relationship and laying the foundation for what is set to be a state-of-the-art education precinct. 🚧 PROJECT AWARD: Uniting Mayflower, Westmead Our long-term partner Taylor | Australia have awarded us the demolition, excavation and shoring package for Uniting Mayflower Aged Care in Westmead. This includes the set up of environmental controls, tree removal, site remediation, demolition, shoring piles, capping beam, shotcrete, temporary anchors, bulk earthworks, detailed excavation and sub grade preparation and base course. After the successful completion of Stage 1 with Taylor | Australia in 2019, we’re excited to work towards the mutual milestone of completing Stage 2 in 2024 together. This will include the re-development of 1 Caroline St, including the demolition of 4x2 storey residential villas and ancillary structures, construction of 3 buildings (block 3, 4 & 5) to cater for 153 independent living units, a basement and a swimming pool. Project Update: Nearing Completion 🚧 Atrium, Carrington Place has reached its final stages, with full completion anticipated by next week. The scope of work has included remediation, bulk & detailed excavation, anchoring, shotcrete, shoring, and foundation piling, as well as the installation of temporary crossovers and the construction of a 2000m² temporary haul road. Key Progress Highlights: ✅ 52,000 tons of VENM successfully exported ✅ 171 piles completed, totalling approximately 1410 linear meters ✅ 305 linear meters of capping beam poured ✅ 1342m² of shotcrete sprayed Currently, the remaining tasks include detailed excavation, installation of base course, and plumbers’ trenches. The Renewal Project aims to optimize and enhance the Principal’s facilities to elevate the educational experience at Trinity Grammar School. The school embraces diversity, fosters an inclusive environment, and focuses on academic excellence while offering a wide range of co-curricular activities.
