It's always good to welcome back a "boomerang hire" to ClearView. We caught up with Kristy to find out what she enjoys about the role and why she wanted to return.

Today is R U OK? Day. We were fortunate enough to have Wayne Pearce, former Australian professional rugby league footballer and coach, speak to the ClearView team this morning about his personal and family experiences with trauma and mental health. Wayne reminded us of the power of resilience and the importance of reaching out to support one another. A simple question, R U OK?, can make a world of difference to someone who may be struggling. Wayne also touched on breaking down barriers and encouraged us to embrace vulnerability. It’s okay to feel uncomfortable and vulnerable – these conversations matter. We thank Wayne for sharing his story with us today. #RUOK

Today, we announced our results for the year to June 2024, reporting a 25% increase in underlying net profit after tax to $35.3m, driven by a 10% increase in inforce premiums and a 34% increase in life insurance new business. ClearView Managing Director Nadine Gooderick said, “the Group’s FY24 results are underpinned by a sound strategy to focus on simplification and its core Life Insurance business, ongoing investment in technology and transformation, and disciplined execution.” Our positive results are a reflection on our dedicated people who contribute to the needs of our customers and advisers every day.
