𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗣𝗟𝗘𝗫'𝗦 Siding Springs Access Road Rehabilitation (Coonabarabran, NSW) The rehabilitation of the access road to Australia’s largest optical observatory ensured safe and reliable access. The project involved substantial excavation of high-strength basalt bedrock materials along steep embankments. To facilitate the construction of a gabion retaining wall, large trees were cleared while adhering to stringent environmental standards within the National Park. Following this, a guardrail was installed, the road was widened, and the pavement was fully reconstructed. Traffic access was maintained outside of working hours and in emergency situations. 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗣𝗟𝗘𝗫 successfully completed the project ahead of schedule, with no incidents related to safety, the environment, or quality.
