SITECH WA is proud to be the preferred technology supplier for CORPS Group, the leading supplier of earthworks, roadworks, civil construction and sand supply in the Pilbara. Sean had the pleasure of visiting their Karratha office, where the team had recently purchased a Trimble R750 Base and R780 Rovers for a new and exciting project at Marble Bar. 📷 Part of the survey team, Chris and Khyber, are pictured here setting up the Powerful R750 Base and R780 Rovers for some field testing at the yard. With this latest supply, CORPS is coupled with some of the sharpest minds and high performance equipment in the industry to continue their journey with leading edge technology available with the latest SPS series. With Trimble's Pro-Point & xFill Technology, the team will be able to go above and beyond while eliminating rework. Last week our director Beau Corps and Earthmoving GM Francois Joubert had the pleasure of presenting to the engineers of tomorrow from Curtin Civil Engineering Association (CCEA). Corps were representing the Contracting/Project Management side of engineering and highlighted some interesting projects we have worked on and all the varied aspects of the role of a Project Manager within our organisation. Many thanks to the CCEA for the Pizza and Red Bull afterwards, you know how to win our hearts ;-)
Last week, the CCEA hosted an Industry Panel exploring various specializations within civil engineering. We were privileged to have representatives from the following companies sharing insights into specific niches: - Geotechnical Engineering presented by David Hull (Red Fox Advisory) - Roads discussed by Ana Cuervo González (ACCIONA AU & NZ) - Structural Engineering led by Joel Brown (Michael Bale & Associates Pty Ltd) - Water expertise shared by Sania Junejo (Stantec) - Project Management insights provided by Beau Corps and Francois Joubert (CORPS Group) We extend our sincere gratitude to the presenters for their valuable contributions. Our members found the event to be exceptionally enriching.

Another fantastic and well organised WA Mining Club Presidents Cup Golf Day at Joondalup Resort on Friday. Thanks to Cassandra Brennan & Josh for organising a great day 👏 Evolve Talent have supported this event for a number of years, and this year we sponsored the nearest to the pin par 3 on the Quarry course, with the winner collecting a Magnum of Veuve Champagne. Later today we will also be drawing the business card raffle, were one lucky participant will win a Shot Scope GPS Golf Watch, the result will be posted shortly. Francois Joubert, Jacques Nel & Andy Skinley Thanks for coming along and playing as part of the Evolve 4 ball, between us we did alright, thank god it was Ambrose play or we would all still be there now looking for balls and getting out bunkers 😂👍🙌
