We get so excited when we hear of success stories that have come through the Curtin Ignition program. Congratulations Joshua Cribb! “I did the Curtin ignition program which helped with the foundations and learnings of how a business should be started and structured.” Nicole Gaitan Ben Thomas Steve Brown PhD. 🌟 Joshua Cribb: From Curtin University to Shark Tank Success 🌟 Joshua Cribb, a Curtin Mechatronics student, co-founded Enautic in 2022, a marine technology company developing the WaveFlyer—a revolutionary hydrofoil electric watercraft. Combining his love for the water and nearly a decade of experience building electric vehicles, Joshua built WaveFlyer from the ground up, including the batteries, electronics, software, hull, and wings. Appearing on Shark Tank was a defining moment for Joshua. " The opportunity to go on the show was a lifelong professional dream of mine so I jumped at the opportunity when it came up," he recalls. Curtin’s Ignition program played a crucial role in his journey. " I did the Curtin ignition program which helped with the foundations and learnings of how a business should be started and structured," Joshua explains. Since Shark Tank, Enautic has raised $1.3 million and is poised to grow into a global competitor in the marine industry. We are thrilled to see our students drive positive change through entrepreneurship. Keep up the incredible work!
