☀️ This week we're back in the beautiful Mid West WA town of #Kalbarri Bernard is meeting with our #primementoring businesses all week and today kicked off our PRIME #VisitorCentre module with Natalie, Kate and Dayna, the hard working team at the Kalbarri Visitor Centre. Our support to Visitor Centres around Australia through our mentor programme is tailored to the individual VCs needs with a strong focus on generating new revenue streams through owned visitor experiences, booking system upgrades, packaging for profit and engaging with local tourism operators to improve their own capability. It's our firm opinion that Visitor Centres play a vital role in not only visitor servicing, but encouraging visitors to stay longer, spend more and grow their local visitor economy. That's a wrap! 🤠 🙌 The #wastationstays workshop is done and dusted for another season and boy, did we have some great news to share this year! 🫶 A big thank you to the wonderful team at #wooramelriverretreat, who hosted with such generosity as we welcomed stations from all over the state, both in person and online. 🐂 🐐 🐑 The WA Station Stays Collective is a collaboration that nurtures and markets #agritourism enterprises, initiated by a collection of pastoral stations, Australia's Golden Outback, Australia's Coral Coast and supported by Tourism Western Australia. This year, we were delighted to also extend a warm welcome to stations in the Kimberley and Pilbara, supported by our newest RTO partner, Australia's North West. 👨💻 At DTM, we've been working with the Stations and the Collective from it's inception to mentor tourism capability through our #primementoring programme, and we couldn't be more proud of the fantastic contribution that our station mentees are making to growing tourism experiences in their regional communities. 🙏 As always a big thank you to our tourism partners for investing in us to realise the huge success story that WA Station Stays has achieved. 💔 We're heartbroken for our friends on Wooleen Station who have lost their beautiful dingoes Steve and Eulalia in the last week to a shooter. Fierce champions of conservation, the Wooleen team enabled guests to gain a deeper understanding of the role of dingoes in land management.
