Mission - "To help people feel good about the environmental choices they make" Eco-Green Garden Care is a premium sustainability focused garden care provider offering services to commercial, retail, owner's corporations, Health & aged care, educational institutions and government. Our commitment to sustainable practice is reflected in our achievement in becoming Australia’s first carbon neutral certified garden care provider. In March 2021 we received Carbon Neutral certification under the Commonwealth government’s Climate Active certificatio initiative. In addition to carbon neutral certification, our commitment to carbon reductions has lead us to the exclusive use of battery technology in our service delivery in conjunction with green power sources for charging. This enables us to deliver our services utilising tools that are generating zero carbon emissions at point of use and at point of charge. Additionally, we have also starting shifting our service vehicles across to EVs, enabling us to start moving toward zero emissions transportation as well. It is our commitment to provide our clients with a premium service while continually endeavouring to reduce our carbon emissions and offsetting those we can not reduce. Our commitment to environmental sustainability extends beyond our carbon footprint, offering organic gardening practices to reduce soil and water pollution. Further, we also use low noise tools and equipment where possible so as to minimise our contribution to noise pollution.

Around Melbourne, a significant green transformation has taken place, led by Stuart Griffiths, founder of Eco-Green Garden Care. Six years ago, Griffiths established what has become Australia’s only carbon-neutral certified garden care provider. Since its inception, the company has transitioned entirely to 100% battery-powered outdoor equipment. The benefits of this transition have been remarkable. Eco-Green Garden Care has significantly reduced its carbon emissions, lowered running costs and minimized downtime. Initial scepticism about performance and durability was quickly dispelled. Griffiths is enthusiastic: “We have batteries we have been using for four years and I have shown no significant signs of discharge.” To support this transition, their dealer was very supportive in helping them to reduce costs. In addition, they looked at the fuel costs that would be associated with the lifetime of a petrol tool and the corresponding savings they would be making. Stuart states the investment will bring long-term savings. This puts Eco Green Garden Care in a pioneering role, proving that advanced battery technology and high professional standards go hand-in-hand.
