We apply a 15mm layer of ATL Composites Pty Ltd epoxy paste, letting it cure for 24 hours to create a solid foundation. With the use of a wide range of precision tools we mill the paste down to 10mm delivering the highest quality finish possible.

Did you know that every component of our 255 Formula was meticulously designed and crafted in-house using Edencraft Creative’s advanced 5-axis CNC milling machine? Here’s how it works: We start with polystyrene blocks, which are expertly cut, assembled, and milled to create the plugs needed for each unique mould. But we didn’t stop there. We’ve refined our process to enhance both the quality and finish of our 255 Formula. Our 5-axis CNC milling technology allows us to incorporate custom plant inserts into our moulds, enabling us to tailor the top deck, hardtops, and smaller parts to your exact specifications. This sophisticated approach ensures a flawless, smooth gelcoat finish, even in the intricate pockets of the 255 Formula. Edencraft International

Setting a new standard for pool manufacturing in Australia, Edencraft Creative's latest collaboration with Summertime Pools is a testament to innovation and excellence. Watch as our skilled design team transforms 2D drawings into a vivid 3D design using CAD (Computer Aided Design). We then harnessed CAM (Computer Aided Manufacturing) technology to program our state-of-the-art 5-axis CNC machine, bringing a groundbreaking pool design to life. Every step, from constructing a robust steel framework to meticulously crafting the wooden substructure, showcases our commitment to precision and quality. Exciting news from Edencraft Creative in Geelong! We're proud to introduce our game-changing CMS 5-Axis CNC machine, lifting Australian manufacturing to new heights. With a massive capacity of 15.5m x 5m x 3m, this cutting-edge technology combines structural integrity and digital flexibility for top-notch precision and productivity. From small components to 50-foot boats, we've got your manufacturing needs covered. Our team has already crafted plugs and molds for the 255 Formula, currently in production at Edencraft International.

After laying down the initial skin coat layer, we progress by adding two layers of fibreglass using Hectron resin. This is followed by multiple layers of LP tooling resin from Allnex and fibreglass to achieve the necessary thickness over a couple of days. Once complete a steel frame is carefully fabricated around the mould and precisely tagged onto the fibreglass. This methodical approach preserves the mould's precise shape, ensuring its resilience and sustainability for future builds. Edencraft International allnex

On the day of applying the tooling gel, a skin coat is applied using 6010 tooling resin from Allnex, requiring careful rolling to eliminate any potential air bubbles. This step stands as a pivotal phase in the mould construction process. Following the milling process, the 255 Formula plug undergoes precise preparation. Sanding smooths out mill marks, while a grey primer application and subsequent sanding ensures an impeccable surface for the top coat. Once the red top coat is expertly applied, the surface undergoes a wet rubbing and intricate detailing process, elevating it to an A1 finish. Over a span of three days, two sealers and eight wax layers are meticulously layered to create a protective barrier between the plug and the mould. This ensures an effortless release when the time comes to separate the mould from the plug. The application of the green tooling gel coat at a controlled thickness, serves as the primary working surface for all 255 Formula hulls, ensuring consistency and quality across each hull produced.
