Today we are pleased to be launching a special instalment of our Come and Say G’day campaign for the India market, starring Australian Test cricket captain Pat Cummins alongside our brand ambassador Ruby the Kangaroo. The campaign launches ahead of the upcoming five Test cricket series between Australia and India, which starts in Perth tomorrow (Friday, 22 November), and will run on TV screens across India where up to 50 million cricket fans are expected to tune in to watch the action. With 30, 15 and 6 second videos, along with Out of Home and print advertising, the tourism campaign aims to show Indian travellers what Australia has to offer beyond the cricket pitch with world-class tourism destinations and experiences across the country. The campaign assets will also be localised to run in the UK during next year’s Women’s Ashes series starting January 2025, and Men’s Ashes starting November 2025. Last week we also released a content series in India featuring recently retired Australian cricketer, David Warner, showcasing his favourite Australian holiday destinations. This week, Delaware North was honoured to welcome four-time Paralympian Ahmed M Kelly, along with former Ten Network sports presenter and Beyond Blue ambassador Brad McEwan, to our second annual Men’s Mental Health Breakfast at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground. The event, organised by Delaware North’s Legal & Compliance team, was a tremendous success, featuring impactful conversations on men’s mental health and a charity raffle with proceeds supporting Beyond Blue. Special thanks to Ahmed Kelly and Brad McEwan for being a part of this event, and to Carlton Football Club, Larry Kestelman Hospitality, Chef Stephen Nairn and Alba Thermal Springs & Spa for their generous contributions.
