Jess and Marcel from Baldivis, our newest location in WA that opened with record numbers, shares theirs; - "Opening our very own Fitstop gym has been an incredible journey. I have transitioned from a career in the legal industry and Marcel has spent over 10 years working FIFO so the opportunity to live out our passion for fitness daily while seeking financial and lifestyle freedom was something we couldn’t pass up. It has been a challenge stepping into an industry that, while familiar through our personal fitness experiences, was entirely new from a business perspective. The pathway to opening has been an exciting learning curve and we have been supported by Fitstop HQ throughout the journey. Some of our biggest triumphs so far have been seeing our first fully booked class, seeing members achieve their goals, and watching the community we’ve built grow stronger every day. When the boss brings you donuts! 🍩😏😏 And, yup—there's no denying we love a sweet treat just as much as we love a barbell squat. Today we got to take a trip down memory lane with Pete Hull, Fitstop's CEO & Founder - "When my mum and I use to visit the shops, she would always reward me with a warm cinnamon donut for being a good kid. It was this simple token of appreciation that I found so [deliciously] satisfying; one which I carry through here at Fitstop to this day. For each new location, I even had this tradition of eating the equivalent amount of donuts for that opening number to celebrate the milestone. Let's just say, it was a bit of a sugar overload after location #22..." At Fitstop we're continually inspired by the team around us and want to make sure we foster a culture of performance and gratitude where everyone feels valued for their collective successes. Even through the simple gesture of a donut—just to say thank you. Remember, life's about balance.
