FoodLegal operates as Australia's premier product regulatory compliance Consultancy, and also runs the FoodLegal Learning Centre. The FoodLegal Learning Centre provides the benefit of FoodLegal's expertise & experience through its acclaimed online learning programs. Its first online workshop for 2025 is on Wednesday 19 February 2025 and aims to simplify the complexities of the Food Standards Code for participants. Submissions are due by 5 December 2024 - We report the NHMRC is seeking feedback on a new draft guidance in the 𝘈𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘢𝘯 𝘋𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘞𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘎𝘶𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘴 in relation to PFAS - On 1 November 2024 substantial changes to the advertising codes overseen by the New Zealand Advertising Standards Authority took effect - FSANZ is seeking submissions on Application A1269 – Cultured cell quail meat as a novel food. On 12 November 2024 FSANZ invited submissions from industry with respect to ApplicationA1269 by Vow Group Pty Ltd to permit cell-cultured quail as a novel food.
