A huge congratulations to our amazing Behaviour Specialist, April Cussen, for excelling in her BCBA exam! We couldn’t be prouder of her dedication and hard work. April's success is truly inspiring, and we’re so grateful to have her as part of our Freedom Team. April is now a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA), Certified Behaviour Analyst (CBA) and Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner. Over the years, April has gained invaluable experience working with teenagers and adults with diverse learning difficulties, focusing on daily living skills, community access, and transitioning into adolescence. Her true passion, however, lies in Early Behaviour Intervention and supporting primary-aged children.

We recognise that individuals, especially those with disabilities, are at various stages of social-emotional development. Through thorough assessments, we gain a deeper insight into each person. Our Behaviour Support Practitioners will design a personalised Behaviour Support Plan (BSP) to address their unique needs. This plan will focus on enhancing Social Skills, reducing challenging behaviours, and developing community skills, equipping them with the tools to overcome challenges, build and maintain relationships, and increase independence for a successful future. At Freedom, we provide Specialist Behaviour Support programs for individuals aged 2 to 65. If you know a client who could benefit from our services, please contact us.

Here is a snapshot of our Summer School Holiday Camps! Our 4-week January Holiday Camps are packed with new and exciting activities to keep participants entertained and engaged! Designed for primary-aged children—including those with social anxiety, ASD, or other developmental delays—our camps provide a fun and supportive environment led by our enthusiastic class leaders who are highly trained to best support our participants. Some of our activities include: - Sensory Play - Science Experiments
 - Music & Dance
 - Create a Passport
 - Obstacle Course Fun
 - Imaginative Dress-Up
 - Dinosaur Egg Hunt
 - Imaginative Cooking Sessions
 - LEGO Building Competitions
 - Parachute Games - Arts & craft
