  • 🎉 A huge day for Fluency 🎉 With the release of Process Mapping, we've hit the second major milestone on our roadmap. Along the way, we've learnt that processes are a team effort. This update focuses on making process visibility and collaboration easy. 🗺️ Process Mapping Now you can connect processes and build workflow maps in Fluency. Link existing processes, create new ones, and record directly from your maps. Now live in Beta. 📁 Process Vaults We have revamped how processes are stored in Fluency with our new vault system. Manage permissions easily and keep your docs and workflows organised. 📝 Editing Suite We have overhauled our editing suite to make the time between process capture to production-ready documentation even shorter - everything from bulk crop through to annotation types. 🔗 Request Docs Want to see how a team member completes a process? Simply send a request and we'll notify them to record it. Perfect for consultants building current state process maps, or internal teams that need better process visibility. This update is now live for all users!

  • Last week, we shared Atlassian's findings on the 2024 State of Teams. This report focused on how teams are sharing knowledge around the world. Now, Zoom's latest report reinforces these findings, highlighting how inefficient collaboration drains time - and leadership is affected the most. At Fluency, we're building for the next generation of teams, changing how they collaborate and share information. By automating process documentation, we're starting with the foundation: business's core processes. Accurate and automated process documentation leads to better knowledge transfer, easier training, and more time for process improvement initiatives. Thanks Zoom for these valuable insights - full report available in the comments below.

  • October is Cybersecurity Awareness Month - and as the month nears a close, we wanted to reflect on the importance of including process security as part of your overall security posture. Processes often contain sensitive information, and it's crucial to ensure they're secure. Consider the following questions: 🔒 Are your processes stored in a central repository, or are they scattered across systems, random people's laptops, and in people's heads? 🔒 Do processes contain Personally Identifiable Information (PII)? Have steps been taken to redact any unnecessary PII from process documentation? 🔒 Are processes scoped following least privilege principles? Can just anyone access process docs - or only the people who need to? 🔒 Do you have cybersecurity processes documented? Clear incident response playbooks? This month we've reaffirmed our commitment to process security with our latest feature - automatic PII redaction on screenshots. Now, Fluency admins can decide what PII gets automatically redacted as an extra layer of security. Stay tuned for our upcoming blog about including process security as part of your cybersecurity strategy.

  • Atlassian's State of Teams Report 2024 just dropped, and many of the key takeaways are strongly aligned with our vision here at Fluency. 1️⃣ Fortune 500 companies lose 25 billion work hours yearly to ineffective collaboration. 2️⃣ Only 24% of teams are doing mission-critical work, according to executives. Poor information sharing was found to be a massive culprit. In contrast, teams with self-serve information were found to be: - 4.9x more effective - 4.4x more productive - 4.4x more adaptable Here are some takeaways: High-performing teams set clear, visible goals and build daily rituals to clarify priorities. Top teams design their workdays around these high-priority tasks, using meetings strategically and making time for focused work. Successful teams prioritise improving their processes, practices, and tools. They focus on high-impact work over short-term goals. This report shows there's a gap in current teams - Fluency bridges this gap for processes. We have a vision for the next generation of process-first operations teams - and we're happy to see that we're solving a real pain point. Read our full thoughts in the comments below 👇

  • As we wrap up the week, we're diving deeper into Fluency 2.1, our latest update. Automated PII redaction now blurs sensitive information captured during a process instantly, with account admins easily controlling what's auto-blurred in team settings. This is actioned before it even hits our database, ensuring greater process security than ever before.Improved batching and AI process handling means step descriptions for long, complex processes are better than ever. We've also introduced bulk-step deletion for efficient trimming of large processes, making the time from Recording -> Completing a process doc even shorter. These upgrades reflect our commitment to building the go-to process house for operations teams - keep an eye out for a huge update coming soon.

  • Fluency takes another step forward in process security today. We're introducing customisable auto-redaction of personally identifiable information (PII). This new feature expands our PII protection, now automatically blurring screenshots where PII is detected. This includes a wide range of sensitive information such as credit card numbers, phone numbers, names, Tax File Numbers (TFNs), and Australian Business Numbers (ABNs). Account admins can set what will get automatically blurred, and apply this across their organisation. We're committed to making Fluency the secure environment for recording and storing your processes - get started today at the link in the comments!
