Glisk is a management and technology consulting company focused on helping Australian organisations improve their performance through excellent delivery of business change projects. We focus on the value-adding elements of business change including project, program and portfolio management, change management, business analysis and PMO. We have significant experience in hands-on project delivery across organisations in Australia and internationally. While it is difficult to differentiate in such a crowded market, our goal is to deliver a better service than anyone else and grow through word of mouth. We’re confident that clients will discover very quickly through working with us that we set a much higher standard regarding service and delivery. Glisk is an old Scottish word meaning ‘a gleam of sunlight through the clouds’, or figuratively, ‘a glimpse of the good’. That’s why at Glisk we want to get the right outcome in the right way. Right to Disconnect The Right to disconnect came into force today across Australia. While the law is vague and can cover some subjective areas of connection, it's important to be aware of this and to treat your employees fairly. Take the following into consideration when contacting outside of normal hours: - The reason for the contact - How it was made - The level of disruption - Whether employees are paid to work additional hours - The seniority of the employee - The role of the employee - Personal circumstances In consulting, we often have two 'masters', our organisation and the client organisation. If you are feeling the level of contact is too much or is too intrusive, the first port of call should be your manager. A common sense approach to this will stand individuals and organisations in good stead.
