Great news for the Mid West! EOI for Summit Presenters are out now. There will be a regional arts summit in Geraldton on 6 February 2025. We are calling for artists, practitioners, researchers and specialists who are willing to share their experience, ideas, and case studies happening in or relevant to the Mid West region of WA. If you are interested, complete the EOI before Sunday, 20 October via the link: https://lnkd.in/gYnEbPEU The Mid West Creative Ecology Summit will be a one-day event on Thursday, 6 February 2025 in Geraldton that will bring together the creative community to strengthen relationships, cross-sector learning and explore what makes up the Mid West’s unique creative ecology. This event is possible because of a partnership with the Mid West Development Commission, support from the Minderoo Foundation through the Regional Arts Network, and core funding to Regional Arts WA from the WA State Government through the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries (DLGSC) and Lotterywest. The event is being developed collaboration with the City of Greater Geraldton, Geraldton Regional Art Gallery, Museum of Geraldton, Yamaji Art Centre, North Midlands Project and many more! This initiative delivers on our Thrive! Framework by supporting the development of creative and cultural industries in WA’s regions and facilitating statewide and regional connection. #RegionalArtsWA #ThriveWA #RegionalArtsNetwork
