For 12 months the GoodWork.ai team has quietly been building a product which we believe will forever change how retail analytics is done. A product that performs complex retail analysis in seconds. And which is so easy to use that anybody can start asking it questions in 5 minutes. It has the potential to save big retailers many 1000s of hours each week in manual analysis and unlock an entirely new way of running retail businesses. Today we are pleased to announce two big steps toward our vision. First, we welcome Adam Whybrew to the team as our Director of Research. Second, we are happy to share our recent partnership with Square Peg. Adam is one of the leading data scientists for the retail sector globally. He spent 17 years at BCG where he founded the data science practice group in the Asia-Pacific, built advanced analytics and AI products for 30+ retailers globally, and developed 5 patents in retail analytics and Gen AI. He joins GoodWork.ai to spearhead our AI research endeavours. His work will focus on deepening our product’s capabilities for merchandise, finance and operations teams. Square Peg is a leading Australian VC with a focus on AI. From our first discussion we were massively impressed with James Tynan, Paul Bassat, Tony Holt and the team. They went deep to understand the problems with retail analytics technology today and they helped push out the boundaries for what GoodWork’s product could achieve. Most importantly, they share a genuine desire to build a game-changing product for big retailers. Realising our vision will take hard work, but Adam and Square Peg will make it a whole lot easier (and much more enjoyable 😊). BTW, we're hiring (especially Data Engineers!). Reach out if you're interested.
