After five incredible years of leadership, George Wahby has made the decision to step back as CEO of Greencross Pet Wellness Company. We are grateful for his vision in building a customer-driven pet health and wellness ecosystem that has earned the trust of over 2.8 million customers.   We are excited to announce that Lucas Barry, our current Chief Operating and Financial Officer, will succeed George as CEO starting January 2025. Lucas has been instrumental in Greencross’ growth and transformation and his appointment is a testament to the talent within our organisation.   George will remain with us as a Non-Executive Director and advisor continuing to share his expertise. We thank George for his dedication and leadership to make the world a happier place through the love of pets. Yesterday we had the absolute pleasure of celebrating our cheque handover with Vision Australia, Royal Canin, Zoetis and Greencross Pet Wellness Company. We’re incredibly proud to have raised a record-breaking $1,359,755 for Seeing Eye Dogs Australia to help train-up another 27 Seeing Eye Dogs for Australians who are blind or have low vision. Over the last 11 years, the Petbarn Foundation Seeing Eye Dogs Appeal has now funded a total of 179 Seeing Eye Dogs!
