Chronic disease prevention and management is their primary area of interest including weight management, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, osteoporosis, arthritis, food allergies and intolerances, cancer, malnutrition, COPD, chronic kidney disease and renal failure. The practitioners can also assist in a wide variety of other cases. These include, work cover claims, general injury rehabilitation, fitness, public speaking on nutrition and exercise, general nutrition enquiries, as well as sporting injuries, performance, strength and conditioning and nutrition. The Healthy Lifestyles Australia team provides a strong multidisciplinary approach to Diabetes care and management for those people with T1DM, T2DM, IGT and Gestational Diabetes.
