Over the past 30 years, Hillery Group has grown from a small civil service provider to a complete on site mine and civil earthmoving company, supplying a diverse range of quarry materials Queensland wide. We have continued to expand our operation, increasing plant machinery along with state of the art equipment to support an ever-growing demand. Hillery Group is experienced in providing a wide variety of products and services for a diverse range of infrastructure and resource projects with a guarantee of quality resources, state of the art machinery and an experienced, qualified team that our customers can rely on. We are seeking haulage drivers to join our crew of professional drivers to supply our many clients in this region. The work is Monday to Friday, including overtime and potential weekend work. We require multiple drivers for an immediate start, and you must be HC licence holders with experience in driving road trains and truck and dog combinations. Preferably, you will have your Standard 11 and a Coal Board Medical, but you must be willing to undergo drug and alcohol testing. The preferred applicant needs to be able to demonstrate experience driving on unsealed roads with a history of zero incidents. Maintain accurate records of customer credit applications. Follow up on outstanding payments and ensure timely collections. Undertake bank reconciliation regularly and accurately. Communicate effectively with customers to resolve billing inquiries. Collaborate with the finance team to support month-end and year-end processes. Assist in developing and improving accounts receivable procedures. WHAT YOU’LL BRING Experience in accounts receivable or a similar finance role. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel preferably experience with MYOB AccountRight. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
