Our third annual Pink Hoops Round is next Sunday January 19 as we partner with the McGrath Foundation to raise awareness and funds to support cancer research. Our principal partner Harvey Norman will be contributing $100 for every three-pointer hit by the Flames and Kings on the day, assisting the club's goal by doubling last year's fundraising amount of $50,000. Get your tickets, order your pink merch, come down to watch the Flames and Kings in this double-header and join us in raising funds for this important cause. #BreastCancer #WomensHealth #TakeTheThrone #BringTheHeat

The Pink Hoops round will see our players wear their special pink jerseys to help raise funds for the McGrath Foundation and raise awareness about women’s health and breast cancer. Now in its third year, the Pink Hoops initiative is the brainchild of Flame #212 and current Sydney assistant coach Tiana Mangakahia, who retired in 2023 due to her ongoing battle with breast cancer. “I am so thankful to be a part of something so important to many women and men out there and grateful to be an advocate for breast cancer and the McGrath Foundation,” said Mangakahia. To prepare for the January 19 double-header, the Flames recently held a breast health understanding session at Auburn PCYC NSW with the McGrath Foundation’s Ambassador Tracy Bevan, and McGrath Breast Care Nurses, Melissa Grady and Peta Brydon. https://lnkd.in/g2sJ5mhx #BringTheHeat #PinkHoops #WomensHealth
