IHHC SA Branch hosted another successful breakfast last Friday, this time at the AJ Baker & Sons Pty Ltd showroom in Dry Creek. We enjoyed an informative presentation from Joanna-lee Tan, Innovation Manager at ARIIA (Aged Care Research & Industry Innovation Australia) pictured here with SA Branch Chair John Boland. Also pictured is Adrian Emmerson, Account Manager at Moffat Australia / New Zealand who provided our hosts AJ Baker & Sons Pty Ltd with the Convotherm equipment and cooking for the morning. Thanks to all who supported and attended, making it a memorable event!

The IHHC is pleased to announce that John Boland, former National President and current SA Branch Chair, has been awarded Life Membership of the IHHC. The announcement was made at the IHHC National Conference Gala Dinner and Awards Night. John joined the IHHC in 1996 and says, "I can honestly say that I've cherished every moment of my involvement. I was both surprised and humbled to receive Life Membership. A heartfelt thank you to the current board, especially to Lisa Cranham, National President, for ratifying my nomination." All of us at the IHHC extend to John our heartiest congratulations. John is seen here in several photos at the Award dinner, including with longtime WA Branch member Carey Bray as well as IHHC National President Lisa Cranham, National Secretary Kathryn Manning and other well-wishers who wanted their photo taken with the man of the hour!
