Founded in 1949 when the very first JAX store was opened in Sydney, 37 years later JAX expanded its services from a tyre and wheel focused company to include brakes and suspension servicing. In 1995 Quick Fit Tyres was created and initially had a strong presence in Queensland before expanding into Victoria. Company growth is strong year-on-year, offering good returns for its privately owned run stores. JAX Tyres employs more than 500 people. Last weekend we attended the Sydney International EV Autoshow! There was plenty of innovation on offer for the growing electric vehicle market in Australia and it was a great opportunity to educate consumers on why EV specific tyres are recommended for their electric vehicles! A few key reasons include: ⚡The increased vehicle weight due to the battery pack. ⚡When accelerating, EVs use 100% of the vehicle power leading to more intense weight transfer. ⚡Lower rolling resistance of EV tyres help improve EV's range. ⚡EVs are almost silent, so having lower-noise tyres gives you a smoother driving experience.

Local Heroes! 💪 JAX Tyres & Auto Gosford franchisee Peter Bonvino and his brother-in-law Nathan Metcalfe tackled the 2024 Spring edition of the Shitbox Rally and raised $6,980 for the Cancer Council Australia. The Shitbox Rally is renowned for its unique and adventurous challenge, where participants drive cars, valued at less than $1,500, across Australia’s rugged terrain. Pinktober wrapped up! 🚗 We’re thrilled to share that this year our pink campaigns have raised nearly $38,000 in support of breast cancer awareness and research! This incredible outcome wouldn’t have been possible without the generosity of our customers and the dedication of our franchisees. 💗 Special thanks to Supercars superstars David Reynolds and Mark 'Frosty' Winterbottom for auctioning off their pink helmets, raising $24,300 for the National Breast Cancer Foundation!

The testing day provided firsthand knowledge of product performance, making it easier for our franchisees to communicate benefits to customers with confidence after launch.
