Australia’s labour market is showing remarkable strength! 🚀 Over the September quarter 2024, employment rose by 3.1%, well above the decade-average annual growth rate of 2.3%. Victoria and New South Wales led the charge, while key roles like Professionals (+120,200 jobs) and Community and Personal Service Workers (+75,200 jobs) are driving growth. Occupations with more mature-aged workers are less likely to face shortages! Only 19% of roles with 30%+ workers aged 55+ were in shortage, compared to 44% of those with fewer older workers.
