Today was a wonderful day with Her Excellency Dr Jeanette Young AC PSM, Governor of Queensland, presenting our 2025 Leaders with their badges at our Mancel College Leadership Assembly. Our Leaders were honoured to be presented by Her Excellency and in front of Board, invited guests, Parents, Staff and the Students of our College. A proud moment in the journey of our College community.

We provide education, support and advocacy for children and young people with Language Disorder.
About us
Language Disorder Australia is Australia’s trusted network of professionals and services, committed to ensuring extraordinary outcomes — beyond what anyone imagined possible — for children and young people with Language Disorder. With over 40 years’ experience providing high-quality education, support, and advocacy for our clients and their families across the country, we are boldly spearheading a better future for all children and young people with Language Disorder, unafraid to do things differently in the pursuit of our vision. Our multidisciplinary and integrated network of educators and allied health professionals work with our partners, community and government to provide services that consider and address all aspects of life. Through our work at The Glenleighden School, across the education system and via our private allied health clinics, we deliver contemporary, integrated support underpinned by evidence-based research — placing our clients’ needs at the heart of everything we do. It’s these services which enable us to unlock new pathways that allow children and young people with Language Disorder to forge their own path for success — a path that is uniquely theirs, and which will see them connect and thrive in their communities and find their place in the world. We stand strong in our belief that all children have the right to access quality education and support which addresses their needs, because everyone — no matter our differences — deserves to belong. At Language Disorder Australia, we will keep working to build a world of greater understanding and connection, to allow children and young people with Language Disorder to unleash their full extraordinary potential.
