As we wrap up for 2024 our final impact update for the year is a special one. This week marks 3 years since LendForGood's first Live Q&A and campaign 3️⃣ 🎊 In the last 3 years, we've hosted 40 successful impact loan campaigns from 24 impact enterprises across Asia, Africa and Australia. These enterprises have been supported by five impact intermediaries, helping to secure AU$2.7M of impact finance to unlock their potential. We are chuffed to reach the three year milestone of connecting impact enterprises, their impact intermediaries, and passionate individuals and organisations who want to lend their support to create more positive impact in the world. 🫀 🌏 In many ways, the world is different today than it was three years ago. The negative impacts of the polycrisis are abundant, and seemingly gaining momentum. Yet as always, the only way through this and what is ahead of us, is collaboration, acting in solidarity with each other. Thank you for being part of this journey. 🚀 𝗕𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲 - 𝗔 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗚𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻. 👏 Glean Asia is a a 'tech for public good' venture, focusing on enhancing English education and technological capacity for rural students in Cambodia, addressing educational and technology access gaps. They're on their second loan with LendForGood having successfully repaid the first, and continue to drive impact. 🇰🇭 👩🏫 🌍 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻: Glean is now operating in 39 schools across 3 provinces in Cambodia. For the 2023-2024 academic year, the program now serves a total of 5,052 students across grades 7, 8, and 9. It is a huge milestone in their enterprise journey from a bootstrapped startup to a commercial success 🤩 Founded with a mission to make a difference in mental health, Emotions operates on a unique three-pillar approach focusing on prevention, support and care, and critical care. 🧠 The company has committed to donating 50% of its profits to leading mental health organisations including Beyond Blue, Lifeline, and the Black Dog Institute. 𝗖𝗘𝗟𝗘𝗕𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗔 𝗦𝗨𝗖𝗖𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗙𝗨𝗟 𝗖𝗔𝗠𝗣𝗔𝗜𝗚𝗡: Sarvaguna Foods and Kitchen Raises AU$54,785 For Fair Wage and Good Nutrition in Nepal 🧑🌾 🚚 🇳🇵 Congratulations to Tulsi Giri, the whole team at Sarvaguna, and the intermediary Red Hat Impact for their second successful impact loan campaign on LendForGood 👏 They raised AU$54,785 from 5 lenders on a 36 month term (10% per annum simple interest). Sarvaguna fundraised for capital needed to expand and grow their catering services in Nepal. A new vehicle is much needed for deliveries to allow for more schools to be delivered to. Two grain silos will allow for Sarvaguna to buy more grain during the harvest season when prices are lower. 🚍🍽️🌾 As well as better prices, they want to be able to use the grain to produce more products in house such as noodles and bread.
