Crafting and curating extraordinary places where people connect

About us

At Lewis Land, we have been crafting and curating extraordinary and enduring places where people connect for more than 65 years. Our assets celebrate the outdoors, and host memorable experiences where people live, shop and socialise. Founded in 1957, we have developed more than 10,000 residential lots along Australia's eastern coastline and created some of Australia's most iconic communities and places. Synonymous with luxury Gold Coast waterfront addresses such as The Sovereign Islands and Ephraim Island, we are currently developing Port Macquarie’s largest master-planned community at Sovereign Hills. We have also recently unveiled our plans for Harbour Shores, a $1.5 billion master planned community on the Gold Coast which will eventually be home to more than 4,500 residents. Pioneers in outdoor outlet shopping, our Harbour Town Premium Outlets in Adelaide and the Gold Coast are leaders in offering premium brands in an open-air environment, creating a unique customer experience for locals and tourists alike. Our stable of award-winning hotels include The Fiddler and Camden Valley Inn in New South Wales, plus The Belvedere and The Komo in Queensland. These family-friendly, outdoor focused venues, are centres of their local communities, offering unique spaces for people to come together and connect. At Lewis Land Group we are proud of our heritage as one of Australia’s largest and longest operating private property groups, and are committed to creating a better world for our communities.

  • 🎉 Celebrating 25 Years of Harbour Town Premium Outlets Gold Coast! 🎉 As we commemorate the 25th anniversary of Harbour Town Premium Outlets Gold Coast this week, we reflect on the incredible journey since our opening in 1999. Lewis Land were the first to bring the outlet concept to Australia, pioneering the outdoor outlet shopping experience and creating destinational retail on the Gold Coast. Over the years, Harbour Town has evolved into Australia’s largest premium outdoor outlet centre, welcoming over 10 million visitors annually. The centre has undergone multiple expansions in 2005, 2007, 2016, 2018 and currently the Convenience mall upgrade is nearing completion, with significant enhancements to the Centre’s infrastructure and aesthetics. Looking ahead, our future planning includes the development of a new Northwest precinct. This will further expand our retail offering, adding 770 sqm of additional space, with a curated tenancy mix focused on premium Athleisure brands based on latest retail trends and customer insights. As we celebrate this significant milestone with our joint venture partner Vicinity Centres, we continue to be committed to providing our customers a unique, vibrant shopping experience which we are famous for.

Lewis Land welcomes the recent planning decision from Gold Coast City Council to approve our proposed Harbour Cove development at Biggera Waters. Our vision for Harbour Cove is to create a master planned waterfront community that will deliver ground level retail and dining, communal recreation facilities, more than 500 apartments, and a pedestrian boulevard linking the precinct to Harbour Town Premium Outlets shopping centre. It is a welcome addition to our pipeline of future projects, as we continue to build on our 40-year history of creating vibrant communities on the northern Gold Coast. #GoldCoastDevelopment #NorthernGoldCoast #DevelopmentApproval #HarbourCove #CityofGoldCoast #PropertyNews #LewisLand

  • We hit an incredible milestone this week at our Harbour Shores master planned community on the Gold Coast. The team from Greyburn Building Contractors has just completed the first concrete pour at The Waterline, marking a significant step forward in our development. Picture this: over 70 trucks and 50 dedicated workers came together bright and early to pour a whopping 700 cubic metres of concrete. This monumental effort is laying the groundwork for what promises to be an extraordinary address. At Harbour Shores, we’re not just building homes; we’re creating a vibrant community that will thrive for generations to come. Here’s to new beginnings and welcoming our first residents in 2026! 🏗️ #PropertyNews #LewisLand #GoldCoast #ConstructionUpdate #Builder #HarbourShores #GreenStarCommunity

  • This week we announced the expansion of our partnership with Coposit, providing purchasers new ways to access our visionary waterfront Harbour Shores community on the Gold Coast. Coposit's CEO Chris Ferris joined our Head of Development Michael Long to celebrate this transformative project. Over the next decade, Harbour Shores will create homes for thousands of Gold Coast residents. As Michael puts it: "Our partnership with Coposit is a logical fit with Lewis Land’s future-focused approach. It means we're not only supercharging housing supply on the Gold Coast, but we're also ensuring this new supply is accessible to more home buyers. It's about building certainty, and capacity, as we build our residential communities." This partnership demonstrates our shared commitment to creating new pathways to home ownership and fostering stronger communities.
