It was a privilege to participate in the 2024 Emerging Leaders Program LGPro VIC (Local Government Professionals) and to graduate at the Victorian Pride Centre last week. I had the honor of being part of the ‘Lead and Grow’ project team, alongside an inspiring group of emerging leaders, where we formed a panel and discussed key topics to enhance leadership and capability in our sector. A heartfelt thank you to Cardinia Shire Council for their strong support, with special thanks to Carol Jeffs, Wayne Mack, Fiona Sewell, and Shane Wilson for taking time out of their busy schedules to attend and celebrate this milestone with me. Lastly, a huge shoutout to my trusted mentor, Holly de Kretser, for her unwavering support throughout the year. I am deeply grateful for her guidance and encouragement.
